FAQ
Frequently asked questions about the platform
What is Portfolio Guider?
Portfolio Guider is an educational tool that displays model ETF portfolio allocations based on quantitative signals. It is not a financial adviser, broker, or fund manager.
Is this financial advice?
No. Portfolio Guider is for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing on this site constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security. Always consult a qualified financial adviser before making investment decisions.
What are signals?
Signals are the output of a quantitative strategy applied to ETFs. Each signal (overweight, neutral, underweight, or defensive) reflects a model view, not a recommendation.
What is SAA and TAA?
Strategic Asset Allocation (SAA) is the baseline percentage for each ETF in a model portfolio. Tactical Asset Allocation (TAA) adjusts SAA using the current signal and a risk factor multiplier. Both are educational model calculations.
What do I get with a free account?
Free members can view one designated model portfolio with all its allocations and signal history.
What do I get with a paid subscription?
Paid members can access all model portfolios, receive email notifications when signals change, and view complete signal history.
How do I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel any time via the Stripe Customer Portal, accessible from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your billing period.
How often are signals updated?
Signals are updated daily when the quantitative strategy generates a new signal for an ETF.
